Jewel Changi Airport Is Crazy Amazing: The Food Choices Are Almost Limitless, And Some Are Open 24/7

Singapore may be a small country, but the choices of food available are almost limitless. For first-time visitors coming to Singapore, though they may feel a little overwhelmed by the food options and unique range of ethnic food — they are likely to fall in love with our city’s food and make a journey back to conquer their food quests.

With the debut of Jewel Changi Airport scheduled to open on 17th April 2019, international tourists and local Singaporeans can look forward to a wondrous experience of the billion-dollar mall filled with exciting attractions, diverse retail and dining options, as well as home to the World’s Tallest Indoor Waterfall — The HSBC Rain Vortex.

‘Standing’ tall at 40-metres in height, the majestic centrepiece located at the Jewel‘s heart is a magnificent sight as it thunders down towards the basement and catches beautiful light rays from the sun above and surrounding nature.

A&W SINGAPORE

After departing Singapore for 16 long years, one of America’s fast-food chain A&W, famous for its root beer floats and coney dogs is making a comeback to Singapore and reopened its first store at Jewel Changi Airport. During the first public preview, customers reported the average waiting time was at least two hours long. A&W has confirmed that it will be operating for 24 hours, and this is great news as it will potentially reduce waiting time as customers can visit during non-peak and odd hours. Since I did not dine in at A&W on the first day, I’m unable to share details of their new menu, but you can expect signature items like Coney Cheese Dog, Cheese Fries, Waffle Ice Cream and of course, Root Beer and Root Beer Float to be on it. Yay!
